Frequently Asked Questions

Both common and obscure questions related to tackling any junk removal project!

1. What do you take?

Junk Warriors will remove and dispose of just about any material you would find inside a home or office. We sometimes impose limits on household chemicals and electronics, dependent on the job requirements.

2. Will I need to assist in the removal, or be present at all?

No. However some customers are working for a client and some prefer to oversee the job. So, we wont stop you from hanging out with us while we work or jumping in to help out the team.

3. How do I get a quote?

Call us at 727-457-5490 with a description of what you’re looking to have removed. Most of the time after you’ve snapped a few pictures of the project we can provide you an estimate over text or email. When larger jobs such as full home cleanouts or hoarding tenants are involved, we generally opt for an in-person walk through. Lastly you can book online here at the top of the website!

4. How does it work?

Once the quote is accepted you will be scheduled . If the job is scheduled further than a week out, you will be contacted the day before to confirm and on the day of the job, you will be contacted again with an ETA once the truck is en route. Once on site the removal process will begin. This sometimes includes planned days for multi-day removal projects and other times simply involves a bit of elbow grease.

5. What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Zelle!

there is a 3% processing fee attached to all plastic.

6. What items are restricted?

All household chemicals are restricted to 5 gallons per truck. Subsequent gallons will be charged at $5 per gallon. Household electronics such as TVs, PC/Laptops, Printers are all restricted dependent on the load size.

7. How big is your truck?

Our truck measures 20 cubic yards at the fill line. This is derived from our 16ft Bed being 8ft wide and 4ft deep. We base all prices off of the fill line, which is the top of the walls.

8. Where does it all go?

We contract with Smashbox 20 (a smash/rage room) in St. Pete, as well as with some donation places such as Goodwill and Habitat for humanity (ReStore). Old wooden furniture that isn’t upholstered will likely go to be smashed by local rage roomers. Newer furniture in donation condition will be inspected and donated if there is room available that day for commercial drop offs. Household chemicals and electronics also have special drop days at Pinellas solid waste facility. Most of the material left will end up at the dump to be burned into energy.

9. How do you handle Infestations and biohazardous material?

We will handle infested locations and materials in a variety of ways including use of PPE like gloves, goggles, one piece suits. Sometimes we okay the use of chemicals but it is a case by case nature. In general we try to avoid working in these conditions but sometimes we have family or tenants who are just surviving and need help to either clean or be moved to a new location.

9. Do you sell items?

Sometimes. We are working on creating a storefront to flip furniture for cheap, which currently happens through our personal Facebooks. We currently have a small group text chat where we give away furniture to people who can pick it up from the site. If you’d like to be part of a group for cheap/free furniture send an email to [email protected] or follow us on Facebook and ask to be added!
